Day 1: Arrival in Darjeeling via Bagdogra Airport

Touchdown at Bagdogra Airport, where your cool mountain escape begins! From here, buckle up for a scenic 3.5-hour drive to Darjeeling — winding roads, misty hills, and the first breath of crisp Himalayan air. Check into the vibe of the hills and take it slow.

By evening, head out to Chowrasta Mall Road — the beating heart of Darjeeling. Stroll around, grab some warm momos, sip local tea, and let the charm of the town set the tone for your adventure.

A lively street scene during evening with people walking and sitting on benches, lit street lamps, trees, and various restaurant signs including "Teal Sri" and "Muscabe" on a brick building, with an overall warm and vibrant atmosphere.

Day 2: Tiger Hill Sunrise & Darjeeling Toy Train Joyride

Set your alarms — it’s a pre-dawn start to Tiger Hill for a jaw-dropping sunrise over Kanchenjunga. Golden hour has never looked better! After nature’s show, reward yourself with a classic breakfast at a local café.

Next, visit Batasia Loop and the War Memorial, a peaceful spot with panoramic mountain views. Then, hop on the legendary Darjeeling Himalayan Railway toy train for a short joyride through lush tea gardens. By afternoon, explore local shops and sip on more tea — because when in Darjeeling, tea is always a good idea.

Day 3: Tea Gardens & Scenic Drive to Gangtok

Start your morning with a walk through a lush tea estate, where the aroma of fresh leaves and old-world charm fills the air. Get a taste of Darjeeling in its purest form — literally.

Then, it's time for the drive to Gangtok, a journey filled with scenic landscapes and Himalayan serenity. Arrive by late afternoon, and head straight to MG Marg for a taste of the town. Window-shop, café-hop, and soak in the vibrant energy.

Day 4: Gangtok Culture & Momos on MG Marg

Begin your day by exploring Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and the nearby Do Drul Chorten Stupa — dive into the spiritual and cultural side of Gangtok tourism. Post that, take it easy. Grab a coffee, chill at your hotel, or just enjoy the slower pace of the hills.

Come evening, MG Marg comes alive. Try steaming plates of momos, slurp some spicy thukpa, and maybe even catch some live music.

Day 5: Tsomgo Lake, Nathula Pass & Mountain Bliss

Adventure calls! Take an early morning drive to the beautiful Tsomgo Lake, nestled high in the mountains. If you’ve got the permits, head further to the legendary Nathula Pass, right on the Indo-China border. Don’t forget to stop at Baba Mandir, a place packed with stories and soul.

Return to Gangtok by afternoon and treat yourself to a relaxed lunch. The evening is yours — maybe a drink, some laughs, and that satisfying post-adventure calm.

Day 6: Cable Car Ride & Departure from Gangtok

Before you say goodbye, float above the town with a Gangtok cable car ride. The views? Absolutely worth it. Soak in one last look at the hills you’ve fallen in love with.

Then, it’s time to pack your bags, filled with tea, trinkets, and tales — and make your way back home with your heart full and your soul mountain-kissed. Take an evening flight . Trip ends with best memories.
