Weekend Trip to Udaipur and Mount Abu – Where Culture Meets Calm
Day 1: Escape the Ordinary – Let the Journey Begin
Departure from Delhi/Jaipur
Your weekend rebellion starts as the sun sets and the city lights fade. Hop into a comfy AC deluxe ride from Delhi or Jaipur and say goodbye to the weekday grind. As the road unwinds, we roll through midnight highways, chai tapris, and random conversations with fellow nomads. Expect light snacks (BYOB - bring your own biscuits) and a surprise fun activity by the trip captain en route.
Day 2: Udaipur – Royals, Romance & Rooftop Cafes
Wake up to the crisp morning breeze of Udaipur, where palaces flirt with lake waters and the city feels like a Sanjay Leela Bhansali dream set. After checking into your cozy heritage stay and grabbing a quick freshen-up, your royal rendezvous kicks off.
First stop? The majestic City Palace — an architectural beast that watches over Lake Pichola like a silent guardian. Just a short walk away lies the Jagdish Temple, humming with divine energy and 17th-century charm.
Next, you’ll glide up to the Karni Mata Temple via a ropeway ride — cue panoramic views and Instagram-worthy frames.
Then comes Saheliyon ki Bari, a lush garden that once hosted royal ladies and now just makes you wish you were one.
Later, Fateh Sagar Lake calls for a breezy stroll, followed by a visit to the towering Maharana Pratap Memorial that reminds you this city is built on valor and vibes.
As the sun dips low, you can either dive into the folk and dance explosion at Bagore Ki Haveli (7–8 PM) or get lost wandering through Udaipur’s lakeside cafes and flea markets.
By the end of the day, your legs might be tired, but your heart will be full.
Dinner back at the hotel seals the royal deal.
Day 3 : From Royal Blues to Mountain Moods
Udaipur to Mount Abu
Rise and shine with lake views and a warm breakfast. Today, we’re heading towards Rajasthan’s one and only hill station—Mount Abu. Cruise past sleepy Aravalli villages and camel-crossings, straight into cooler climes.
Once you check in, wind down with a sunset pedal boat ride at Nakki Lake. Trust us, the stars hit different from a lake in the hills.
Day 4 : Temples, Peaks & Peace Vibes
Start your day by stepping into divinity at the Dilwara Temples — pure white marble art carved so intricately, even your Instagram won’t do it justice. Then, lose yourself (not literally) in Peace Park for some soul TLC.
Next up: Guru Shikhar, the Aravalli Range’s crown jewel. The views? Majestic. The air? Crisp. And for one last dose of zen, hit up Brahma Kumaris Ashram before we roll out of the hills and start the overnight journey back.
Day 5 : Return to Reality (with a Photo Dump Pending)
Early morning arrival back in base city. Eyes tired, heart full, phone storage nearly full. You’ve just unlocked the Mystic Mewar Escape achievement. Bonus? You probably just made 10 new friends and a lifetime of inside jokes.
